These schwantesii v. marthae's patterns look like they're blurry. Funny thing, my camera thinks the same. :D It took me ages to convince it to focus. Anyway, I only had schwantesii for several months but thankfully they seem to be the kind of lithops that like it here.

You might have noticed the Twitter gadget on the sidebar. The idea is to post small things I notice on the windowsill and at the moment I'm not sure I can keep it up so it's more or less experimental. :) Let's see how it goes!
Gorgeous. I never knew about these millky marble like types.... and they are just exquisite. They seem to be types of schwantesii and karasmontana eberlanzii. This one is quite amazing and I wonder what it's parents were:

They are, aren't they? :) Schwantesii are the types of Lithops you might ignore at first but when you see ther beauty you truely see it!
