I've put my Aloinopsis rubrolineata, the one with the thickened roots, back into the ground for now. While my other Aloinopsis plants only react to water but don't grow new leaves yet (summer rest?) this one is showing new growth. The newest leaves have grown larger and there's also something coming out of the side. What do you think - a new branch or a flower? :)
PS: There's a new page in my blog with seeds for sale. Please check it out some time. :)

Very nice looking plant, and to me, those things could be anything, Lol; in zoom, and as a guess, I think it's new leaf buds. I'm probably wrong. :-) By the way, love your seed page. You have some very beautiful plants (Lithops my favourite), and I would love to buy seeds from you, but Australian quarantine laws make this difficult. I will look into this and buy some seeds (and possibly plants too) from you soon ok. All of your plants are beautiful, and your photos to match! The C249 sure does look alluring! Thank you for sharing your love and knowledge of Lithops Rika! :-)
ReplyDeleteCan't say what it is either. It's something good in any case! :) Watching them grow is fun~
DeleteI'm not selling plants at the moment (only after my seedlings are a bit bigger probably ;) ) and sending plants across the world is sometimes difficult because of customs control, but with seeds there shouldn't be any problem, at least that's my experience so far. Glad you're interested :)
Nice looking plant! I will have a look at those seeds at some stage. I just posted a MEGA PIC post with some plants on the rack! Tired! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHard work of a blogger ;)
DeleteLOL! At some stage in future I will look at seeds from international sources, I am getting to a quick end with what is locally available. Maybe next year! I think I can find enough for this spring still, but that would be more or less it. That greeny seed offer has me salivating! LOL! Stunners.
DeleteIf you're looking to make a big mesemb order - there are sources for that. ;) I'll recommened to check out Mesa Garden around January (northern hemisphere) for new seedlist and then act quickly!
