Yes, it opens when it's wet and closes again when it's dry (in a couple of minutes). I think that when the capsule is dry the seeds should be ripe (a dried up capsule can't give any more new substances to the seeds and the fact that it opens with water), but you're right, the color of the seeds is a little off so that i'll leave them untouched in the capsule for a while. :) Lithops seeds can only get better with time~

DeleteHow did the seeds come about? As in how did they produce the seeds, during when its flowering time it produces in the bud or just inside the slit?
