Blossom No. 2

Today I've discovered that another lithops is going to bloom. This time it's an aucampiae, a pretty big plant which is probably going to have two heads next year. Here's the first picture of the flower bud.
Lithops aucampiae v. aucampiae (C002)

  1. Wow! Interesting)) What color will its flower be? =) Also yellow? *searches in internet*

  2. yes, it should be yellow ^^
i'd love to see the white flowers, but none of my 'white' lithops wants to bloom at the moment

  3. Hi Rika,
I must say I really admire your photography, as I know from experience how difficult it is to get really good results. The Lithops closeups are stunning. Thanks.

  4. Hello Luther!
Thank you very much, this is very encouraging for me. It is tricky to find the right angle for the light while taking a photograph of a lithops plant - the light just keeps reflecting from it's 'windows'.
