Simply a beautiful plant. The specific epithet "mesembryanthemopsis" means "like, or resembling a mesemb," very appropriate. In habitat it grows with all but leaf tips buried in soil. Very unusual for a crassula and another example of convergent evolution. This plant is not often offered by nurseries. Why? Because they have trouble growing it. I have tried to grow it three times, and lost all three. I look forward to hearing about your experiences in growing this great plant. Good luck.
Uff now I'm going to worry even more. My conditions are far from ideal. At the moment I'm too scared to transplant or to water it. Thank you, I guess I will really need some luck :)
