I'm really pleased with how the Frithia seedlings are growing. It's quite a change compared to one month ago. I don't have much experience with non-lithops seedlings and mostly try to judge by their looks whether they need something or not. I think it's time for them to get less water - new leaves seem to rip apart the base of the old ones lately.
Very charming.......
ReplyDeleteThank you. They are cute babies :)
DeleteThey look rather healthy!!! I saw the moss ;) I wish you luck with the frithias, I'm thinking of buying some seeds too
ReplyDeleteThe moss is living there for a while, doesn't seem to bother anyone :)
DeleteThanks and good luck to you, too! It wasn't very hard to grow them so far. I'll report on the progress.
They are from summer rainfall area, so winters would be a little drier anyway. They are look great.
ReplyDeleteThanks LT! I'll watch them closely from now on. But I think they've grown enough "meat" to survive a little drought..
DeleteSorry for the bad writing sometimes - I just saw my comment again, like you I also think in another language so it happens.
DeleteLT, I haven't noticed anything. :) What language are you thinking in?
DeleteJust adorable. I'm definitely putting Frithia on my shopping list. :)
ReplyDeleteYou should. :) The young Frithia seedlings are the cutest! Still have to figure out the proper care for adults though.
DeleteThey look lovely Rika! Congrats!! Do they look like ET fingers to you? Lol ;)
ReplyDeleteThey do! haha :) The tips are glowing in the sun, too ;)
DeleteMy Frithia pulchra seedlings are just shy of 2 years old now and finally one has its first bud.
ReplyDeleteNice! Congratulations!
DeleteMay I ask how do you water them in winter?
