They haven't had a winter at my place yet and I'm also wondering how it'll work out. I'll surely report on every development :) D. cooperii I have doesn't like living in a pot at all though, always thirsty and lately very weak looking... I should have brought them to my parents home to live in the garden... Next time maybe. Such quickly growing plants are no good for windowsill.<br />D. sphalmantoides are more appropriate, I think.Rikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16260657278983088064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3791556186150948306.post-66985063539466731472013-08-07T19:18:59.489+02:002013-08-07T19:18:59.489+02:00I like it :) And try to have in my collection too!...I like it :) And try to have in my collection too! Appropriate for a plant that can withstand quite low temperatures. In fact, my experiences with D. sphalmantoides have been as a plant in my outdoor winter hardy planting. I never was able to judge its ability to handle the winter, because I planted them in May and lost them in August. I might try again, but put them in window boxes (planters) because if I plant them directly in the ground, I fear they will be lunch for the rabbits. Have these plants gone through a winter for you with your warm winter temperatures? Your's are lovely as pot plants. Hmm, maybe even another wallpaper photo? Love the color. Thanks for sharing Rika.
