With some exceptions of course (those die the next winter XD ).
I sound pessimistic but after years of growing these guys you get to know which plants have the potential for a long life. :)
Own experience: self-grown lithops are the toughest!Rikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16260657278983088064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3791556186150948306.post-42653997973024061552013-02-10T08:22:53.193+01:002013-02-10T08:22:53.193+01:00Hi Marc,

The conditions mine grow in are the best I can give them at the moment, so.. Will have to work :)

Got the C248 from Atomic Plant Nursery. The plants I got from there were all in the best (compact) condition and, now a year later, all survived the transition, which is rare. ;) Got only the best things to say about the seller.Rikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16260657278983088064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3791556186150948306.post-26927779085788548562013-02-09T21:30:40.014+01:002013-02-09T21:30:40.014+01:00Yikes... This Sulphurea has to digest two pairs of leaves - for each head! I'm a bit pessimistic but we'll see.

Love the C248s <3Rikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16260657278983088064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3791556186150948306.post-73155021179704528102013-02-08T19:23:18.063+01:002013-02-08T19:23:18.063+01:00Yes, I hope mine will take their time and wait unt...Yes, I hope mine will take their time and wait until the sun finally comes to stay. :) I have several that are already finished but I'm not watering because it's dark and they would grow long...
Regeneration is a difficult time for lithops. There are always those that don't make it over the winter months...Rikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16260657278983088064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3791556186150948306.post-67761578942064355572013-02-08T19:19:49.360+01:002013-02-08T19:19:49.360+01:00Hi :) Thanks~

We have had crazy weather, too, and I lost 2 Lithops- they started to re-leaf too soon, didn't have enough strength to manage the transition. Spring should start in March in the Northern Hemisphere, not January!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12888328097434089820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3791556186150948306.post-16954725877777013872013-02-08T16:31:15.639+01:002013-02-08T16:31:15.639+01:00Hi Rika!
